Choppy Choppy!

Hi!

In Night Core, we go through two weeks of hair cutting. By the end of the two weeks, they go from zero hair cutting knowledge to feeling confident in 6 of our 9 haircuts!
(The last 3 are taught in Adaptive Cutting Classes)Honestly, I thought that they did a really great job, grasping the concepts of cutting.

Rory, our Men's cutting specialist at Paul Mitchell the School Tysons Corner, came into our class on the last day of cutting. He spent several hours with us shaping and doing designs on one of my core future professionals heads. Rory is a phenomenal creative cutting specialist and did a great job with the class. Here are some pictures:

When I see the amazing things Rory can do, it makes me realize I work with such talented people!

Jack of All Trades

Hi!

Core has been going really well!!! We are already on Cutting week!!! I can't believe it, core goes by so quickly!

Huge Victory- I am the only that has cut myself! haha! Cutting can be challenging but this class has picked things up so smoothly.

This week, I was able to go out of my core bubble and venture into the world of Admissions. I took three Design Team members to a Career Fair at Chantilly High School Academy. Students from the high school cosmetology program visited our booth. We were able to share the AWESOME benefits of coming to a Paul Mitchell School when they finish high school.

Here’s a picture of Jessika, Danetta, and Manal at our booth!

I'm sure all of you have heard about the devastaing Earthquake in Haiti. Here at Paul Mitchell the School Tysons Corner we are raising money to send over. Our goal is $1,000. If you can donate anything we would really appreciate it. Just come by the school and "Buy a Bottle" for a dollar or more and we will write your name on it, post it on our wall, and donate your dollar to our Haiti Relief Fund!
